An artificial intelligence company under the Mask flag, XAI, has officially launched the image and video generator Grok Imagine to all iOS-end subscribers to SuperGrok and Premium+X. In keeping with the consistent style of the “No Filter, Break Border” AI, which Mask has positioned as “No Border,” Grok Imagine allows users to produce content containing NSFW (non-working).
Grok Imagine is able to convert to a 15-second video with an original audio frequency based on text or image tips provided by the user. It is interesting to note that it contains a feature called “spicy mode” which, when activated, allows the user to generate explicit content with sexual hints, including semi-naked images of some women. While the level of exposure to content is limited, there are media attempts to provide more “spicy” tips, resulting in vague images that are “approached”.
While Sora of Google Veo and OpenAI was using protective mechanisms to strictly prohibit SNFW content from being forged in depth with celebrities, Grok Imagine apparently did not care. Tynthetics attempted to produce a sexy picture of Taylor Swift through spicy Mode, and despite the fact that the images were produced with a terrible valley effect such as skin waxing and rigidity, the character was clearly identifiable.
However, the Grok Imagine generation tool continues to be impressive, taking away functions that could have adverse effects. In a few seconds, images can be generated on the basis of text tips, and new images can continue to be generated in user dialogues, and these images can then be created as stylish animation videos, which can no doubt be facilitated in multiple fields. Mask stressed on X that Grok would also be “enhanced”.
In fact, it’s not surprising that XAI launched the NSFW content. Just last month, Mask added to the Grok model an “AI partner” in the shape of a sexy cartoon girl. On the information-exploiting Internet, it is not possible to determine where AI, with its high “self-conscious”, would learn from, as was the case with Grok4, who used anti-Semitism and anti-feminism as a joke, and Grok Imagine could have unintended consequences.
Rapidly developing AI, if allowed to grow savagely, will have irreversible consequences, particularly in the area of child protection. According to Art, Grok Imagine was able to produce a veritable picture of a child, and while the selection of spicy Mode had not been inappropriate, the high-risk option had not been banned and remained alarming.
Even more embarrassing is its “age validation” mechanism, which does not require any validation when downloading a user application and only requires manual input of the date of birth when a sensitive function is activated. This is a sharp irony with the US ‘ s Take It Down Act, where, just six months ago, X-platform just launched an all-American outcry over the dissemination of Swift ‘ s forged naked photos.
Mask had argued that XAI provided only tools and that its use was user freedom.
