Disaggregation accounts for half of the total income of the puzzle game, with a 58 per cent increase in the combined category.

According to Appmagic data, in the past year up to February 2026, three-sum games dominated the list of most profitable puzzles.

In 2025, puzzles remained the core revenue driver of the leisure game market, accounting for 43 per cent of total market income. Of the three highest-income groups, the only group that achieved income growth was the one with revenues of $9.5 billion between February 2025 and February 2026, an increase of 12 per cent over the same period and an 8 per cent increase in downloads. Among its sub-groups, the three drops in overall income and downloads are still the largest, accounting for 53 per cent of the revenues of puzzle-solving games. However, some of the issuers continued to experience a negative upturn: Dream Game achieved income growth through Royal King, and King also performed robustly, raising the Candy Legend.

On the other hand, combined game income increased by 58 per cent from year to year, while downloads increased by only 7 per cent, highlighting the increased liquidity of users. This sub-category accounted for 20 per cent of the total revenues of the puzzle game in 2025, driven mainly by Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story. The third largest subcategory, Match-2 Blast, has a market share of 5 per cent. Income from this category increased slightly by 2 per cent over the same period, while downloads decreased by 28 per cent. It is noteworthy that 65 per cent of the revenue in this sub-market still comes from Toon Blast, a long-time leader.
